People who have lost work in Ukraine can register with the State Employment Service and apply for unemployment benefit online through Diia, through the State Employment Service electronic services, or in person. The service is free. Diia processes an online application within up to 3 working days, while a simplified route is available to eligible IDPs and people in occupied or combat-affected territories who lack the usual documents.
If you are registered as unemployed in Ukraine and start a job, notify the employment service and end your unemployment registration. You can submit the cancellation request online through Diia or in person at your employment centre, free of charge.
